I have been dancing competitively for 10 years, with two years off during COVID that included a move from California to Arizona.  From 2012 to 2018, I danced Smooth and Rhythm in 33 competitions with Sean Brunell out of Dance Street in Pasadena, California. From 2018-2020, I danced Smooth in two competitions with Youriy Pavlov out of Sloan & Sloan in Glendale, California. Since March, 2022, I have danced three competitions in Smooth and Latin with Ivan Khudoliy out of Fat Cat in Phoenix, Arizona. I am now 75 years old and competing in Silver American Smooth and Bronze International Latin. I am so grateful to be competing again, after six orthopedic surgeries 2015-2018, losing my beloved instructor in 2018, and moving to Prescott, Arizona, in late 2020. There is no competitive dance instruction in  Northern Arizona, where I now live, so I had resigned myself to never dancing again competitively. I am eternally grateful to Maria Nikolishina of Dance Street in Pasadena, CA, for introducing me to Ivan Khudoliy and Alisa Seleznova, two young rising Latin stars who have been competing together for 10 years. I love them both, and they are fabulous together.  Watch them!
