Eamonn Knights and Ida Jones first met when they were children and their Guyanese and Trinidadian parents were friends, many years ago. Over the intervening years the two families lost touch, until unwittingly, Eamonn and Ida randomly connected in a dance partner search in April 2014, in the Washington, DC area. Since, the pair has studied and worked to compete on the NDCA, USA Dance, and WDSF circuits. Besides dance, Eamonn is also a known photographer, violinist and karate teacher. Ida speaks three languages and is an accomplished vocalist.
